College Life

Wondering how is my college life? :)

It has been almost 2 months that I am studying here. We were packed with Orientation Week, Preparation for Orientation Tea Party, club meetings, classes non stop from 8am to 4pm, practicals and exams which I had JUST had my last paper 2weeks ago. *coming up Test 2 next week o.0* Hectic but we have our time at night to do whatever we want. Phew~ I usually online (IF the line can be connected) or make notes for the lessons hardworking eh? influenced by someone :) but still, it depends haha..temptation of fb and food LOL!!! Sometimes my petsis (kakak angkat)will find me to chat with her. I have a nice petsis gladly :) Senior Mary.

I love my roommates. They are just so funny and sometimes crazy. We chat alot *until we forgot that we were actually studying for exam for the next day o.0* Girls what. Lol.

brought them with me ♥

6 August was our first day to work in the hospital with supervision. So fast. I was quite excited because we get to see real patients and really hands on the procedures to them. And its the first day where I put my uniforms on! :D I got to see and take care of different kinds of patients. Last time I went hospital to visit someone but now I go hospital to communicate, assess and nurse the patients. It's totally a different feeling. Some of them even brighten your day. :)

A place to have quiet time :)

Throughout these 2 months, we get to learn a lot of things. It is not just taking care of the patients, the skills and the knowledge. It is also the heart and art of care. I learnt to know more about health and how to promote recovery too. Hehe. It applies a lot in the daily lives. *so that I know how to take care of myself and people around me :)* teehee

Well it's a good nursing school. Am grateful to be sponsored to study here. Especially love our theme song. :) hehe

It may be tough as years goes by (most of the seniors said =S) but I'll carry on these 3 years and see myself graduate as a staff nurse :) Life would be so challenging but interesting :D Rock on!

Love you, Great-grandma

My dear greatgrandma had left us peacefully on Sunday.

I remember the days when I can take care of her.
Helping her to exercise, walk her around the house.
Give her food to eat, water to drink.
Cut her nails, bath her, clothed her.
She always call my name when she needs help.

When I was a baby, she took care of me.
She brought me to Petaling Street, pawned her gold and bought dolls and fruits for me.
I also remember her scoldings when we cousins were naughty.
but She cooked maggi mee for us. She bought ice cream for us.
Nevertheless, She loves doggie so much that she shared her food with 'em.
Doggie loves to hide under her chair when I wanted to 'catch' them to bath.

92 years of journey on earth
and now she have gone back to the eternal world with the Lord.
I'll always remember her in my heart.

Thanks to all my brothers and sisters and friends for the condolences and support.
Appreciate every messages and calls you guys made.
I'm alright. No worries aite :)

*Assuntarians: I'll be back tomorrow...night :)

Footprints left at various schools

Guess what. I studied at famous schools since I was in kindergarten.

Kuen Cheng Kindergarten

Kuen Cheng Primary School (1)

Kuen Cheng High School

St. John Institution

and currently Tun Tan Cheng Lock College of Nursing (Assunta)

Most of it are private schools but I am always sponsored to further my studies in these schools/institution/college.

What more can I say?

I am proud to be one of the

Kuen Chengs,

Johannians

and

the Assuntarians :)
